Make the detail clear
Use editing and annotation tools to call attention to the parts of the scan that matter. Check cropping and filters before adding marks. Avoid covering the original detail with annotations: zoom in, review each page, and make sure a reader can still understand the document.
Protect the shared file
The published app includes password protection for documents. Set the password when preparing the file, then test the exported copy to confirm that opening it requires the password. Keep the password somewhere you can recover it and share it with the intended recipient separately.
Organise the originals
Use folders and the app’s iCloud sync options to organise your scans. Choose a name that describes the document and date so you can find the right version later. Sync availability depends on your settings; check that the expected file is present before relying on another device.
